If you’re injured, you should go to the doctor. It’s important that you document the injuries that you have, and the only way to do that is to get proper medical treatment. In addition, the doctor will be able to evaluate what’s wrong with you, and if they need to send you to a specialist or for an MRI, they’ll make sure that that’s done.

It’s also important to note that under Florida law, and the PIP statute, you have 14 days to treat after the date of an accident, if you’re going to utilize your PIP coverage. If you don’t treat within 14 days of the accident, you won’t be able to use the PIP coverage under your automobile policy.
