Do I have to stay with the attorney that I am referred to?

No, if at any time you’re dissatisfied with your attorney, you could fire that attorney and retain a new attorney. However, your original attorney may have a lien for the work and the advanced costs they put into your case. However, that shouldn’t be a reason to dissuade you from getting new counsel if you’re not happy with the counsel you were referred to.
