How long does a landlord have to return my security deposit in Florida if there are no damages?

If there are no damages to the property and the landlord’s not making a claim as to the security deposit, they have 15 days from the date that you move out. However, if they are making a claim as the damages, they have 30 days to send you notice of that via certified return receipt.
