If there is no written lease, how much notice must I give my landlord to terminate a tenancy?
If you don’t have a written lease, your tendency is determined by the intervals of which you pay rent. The most common is paying your rent monthly. In the instance where you pay monthly, you have what’s called the month to month tenancy. Under the statute, you have to give your landlord at least 15 days notice prior to the end of the current rental period to terminate the lease.
