If there are, get their contact information, so that they can be reached later on to see what they say about the accident.

It’s also important that you have pictures. Most people now have a cell phone with a camera, so assuming you do have that, take pictures of your vehicle, take pictures of the other vehicles involved, the damage to the vehicles, and if you can, pictures of the accident scene. Only take pictures of the accident scene if you can do it safely.
